Description
Kedarkantha is a mountain peak of the Himalayas in Uttarakhand, India. Its elevation is 12,500 ft. Kedarkantha is located within Govind Wildlife Sanctuary in Uttarkashi district. The climb to the peak of Kedarkantha starts from a small village called Sankri. There are a total of 13 peaks of the Himalayan range visible from the Kedarkantha peak. The Kedarkantha trek usually takes 5-6 days. It is quite popular due to the trail's easy accessibility throughout the year. It is considered easy to moderately difficult, making it suitable for beginners. In summer, the Kedarkantha trek takes climbers through green meadows and pine and oak forests. In winters, the heavy snowfall received in the area makes it a beautiful winter trek.

Altitude: 9,100 feet to 11,250 feet
4 kms trek, approx. 2.5 hours
Peaks: - Bandarpoonch, Swargarohini, Kala Nag and Ranglana stand among the others

Day 4: Kedarkantha base to Kedarkantha peak; descend to Hargaon camp
Altitude: 11,250 feet to 12,500 feet to 8,900 feet
6 kms trek, approx. 7 hours
Spend some time at the summit and descend back to the base camp by noon for lunch
Post lunch, descend down to Hargaon and will reach by evening

Day 5: Hargaon camp to Sankri
Altitude: 8,900 feet to 6,400 feet
6 kms trek, approx. 4 hours
Day 6: Departure day (Sankri to Dehradun)
Distance: 220 km drive, approx. 10 hours
Will reach Dehradun in the evening by 5pm

After we receive your written cancellation, the money shall be refunded to the trekkers on seeking cancellation as follows: Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the trek 95% refund of total amount (Note: If the trek charges are more, the balance needs to be paid by the trekker) Cancellation prior to 25 days from the start of the trek 70% refund of total amount Cancellation prior to 15 days from the start of the trek 50% refund of total amount. Cancellation prior to 10 days from the start of the trek Transfer your trek (same trek, same batch) to your friend. No cash refund. Note:- 1)- Change of trek batch is dependent on the availability of seats in the batch. 2)- In case of transferring a trek to a friend, he/she should satisfy all the mandatory requirements put forward by Nomad Adventures. 3)- Nomad Adventures holds the right to change/cancel the policies, without prior notice.
