About Chopta-Chandrashila

Chandrashila is summit of the Tungnath. It literally means "Moon Rock". It is located at a height of about 4,000 metres above sea level. This peak provides views of the Himalayas, including Nandadevi, Trisul, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch and Chaukhamba peaks.

Your Adventure Itinerary

Day 1: - Haridwar to Sari

• Altitude: 6,601 ft. Stay in guest house.
• Distance: 210 km (8-9 hrs drive).
• Pick up time 06:30 am at the parking of Haridwar railway station.

Day 2: - Sari to Deoriatal

• Trekking distance: 4 km.
• Altitude:  7,841 ft.
• Accommodation: Tents.

Day 3: - Deoriatal to Chopta (via Rohini Bugyal)

• Trekking distance: 14 km.
• Altitude: 8,800 ft.
• Accommodation: Tents.

Day 4: - Chopta to Chandrashila Peak via Tungnath

• Trekking distance: 9 km.
• Altitude: 12,083 ft.
• Accommodation: Tents/Guest house.

Day 5: - Chopta to Haridwar

• Distance: 210 km (9-10 hrs drive).
• Will reach Kathgodam by 6:00 pm

Policy & Terms

Cancellation terms Nomad Adventures must receive notification of cancellation in writing. After we receive your written cancellation, the money shall be refunded to the trekkers on seeking cancellation as follows: Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the trek 95% refund of total amount (Note: If the trek charges are more, the balance needs to be paid by the trekker) Cancellation prior to 25 days from the start of the trek 70% refund of total amount Cancellation prior to 15 days from the start of the trek 50% refund of total amount. Cancellation prior to 10 days from the start of the trek Transfer your trek (same trek, same batch) to your friend. No cash refund. Note:- 1)- Change of trek batch is dependent on the availability of seats in the batch. 2)- In case of transferring a trek to a friend, he/she should satisfy all the mandatory requirements put forward by Nomad Adventures. 3)- Nomad Adventures holds the right to change/cancel the policies, without prior notice. If a trip must be delayed or the itinerary changed due to bad weather, road conditions, transportation delays, government intervention, airline schedules, sickness, or other contingency for which Nomad Adventures or its agents cannot make provision, the cost of delays and/or other changes are the responsibility of the participant.
